Jesper Mentink, student of the Saxion International Business School, has won the MSc in Management Business Game and was granted a scholarship of the Nyenrode Business University. On 24 and 25 November 2017, our Saxion student Jesper Mentink participated in the Msc in Management Business Game of Nyenrode in Breukelen.

Objective of the Management Business Game
The objective of the Management Business Game was to create a beneficial and feasible strategy for the start-up Storage Share to enter different countries, cities and/or markets within Europe. After having conducted intensive research, Jesper’s group; that consisted of six motivated team members, came up with a unique strategy which was eventually chosen as best strategy by both Nyenrode as well as Storage Share itself.

Nyenrode Scholarship
However, in order to win the Nyenrode Scholarship, all team members of the winning group had to do an individual interview with six persons including the Director of the Msc in Management of Nyenrode and the CEO of Storage Share, in which all team members had to explain (read; pitch) why he or she should deserve the Nyenrode Scholarship.

An unanimous decision was made and Jesper was chosen to receive the Nyenrode Scholarship for the Msc in Management.

This scholarship will allow Jesper to continue his development in an international and practcal business environment at one of the best business universities of the Netherlands and surroundings.

Moral of the story; with enough motivation and dedication, everyone is able to achieve whatever he or she desires.
